We don't ship until it feels right.
A small studio building the fantasy action RPG we'd actually want to play. We take our time, and we build in the open.
Arkaenite Foundry is a small independent studio. No publisher deadlines, no feature checklists written by people who'll never play the game: just a stubborn refusal to ship something that doesn't feel good in the hands.
Craft shows. You can tell when something was built with care, and you can tell when it wasn't. So: systems that respect the player, interfaces that feel deliberate, and a world worth getting lost in. We'd rather take longer and get it right than ship something we don't believe in.
The art comes later. The foundations come first. Here's where our effort goes right now.
Gameplay systems built by hand, for depth instead of flash. The mechanics are the game.
Custom editors and tools, built so making content is quick instead of painful. The unglamorous work that makes everything after it faster.
Development happens in public. Progress, the roadmap, and the messy decisions are out where you can see them, not hidden behind a marketing wall.

A fantasy action RPG where magic has weight and your choices leave a mark. We're building its systems first; the world itself is still taking form.
No illusion of choice: quests bend to how you solve them, NPCs remember, and whole settlements rise or fall in your wake. The world keeps the shape you leave it in.
A handcrafted world with no trail of markers to follow. Every hidden path, ruin, and secret is placed by hand. Curiosity is what they pay out, never busywork.
Expressive, skill-based combat and deep, build-defining progression. Become the character you imagine. Challenging, but never punishing for its own sake.
We post progress as it happens. Join the community to follow development, ask questions, and tell us what you think while it's all still taking shape.
